With Rome’s victory over the “Lega Latina (VII b.C) the famous battle between the Orazi and Curazi, the city of Ariccia enstablished it self very well in Rome’s lifestyle.During the Roman Empire (63 b.C), the Hotel’s property belonged to the Emperor Ottaviano Augusto family.
During this period, the Hotel’s property became a worship place, in fact, not far away at all from the main Hotel’s building, there are ruins of temples of God Esculapio (medicine God) and of Goddess Diana ( hunting Goddess ).Later on the years, the property belonged to the Chigi della Rovere family rich feudal family, to Pope Alessandro VII (1665 a.C) and finally to Count Le Lieure, who in 1865 invited Giuseppe Garibaldi.
